... 9 hours you can do your skill up tons of free courses from o'reily udemy etc. for monetary benefits there are multiple programs for employee which can straight away double up you salary (in-hand) ..... but again you have to manage the time .... somehow luckily by god's grace I was having all above so I got that double in-hand salary. so yup I'm pretty satisfied with my job in TCS it's like in 2.5 years I got 2 promotions and 5 appraisals that sounds insane (I know its TCS) but its possible only by right guidance right manager and 99% your dedication. Health insurance policy is best here basic plan is of 2L cover + 6k domiciliary each person of course one of the best infrastructure soothing environment (since offices are in places where mountains lakes and all are there) Extracurricular activities are very joyful : cricket basketball TT football gym squash carrom badmiton etc things are highly maintained. do regular work keep upskilling yourself take part in wings for monetary benefits dont break any of the cod of conduct and you are good to go for spending your whole life here with almost double salary in every 2.5 years.

Dislikes

HR and HR policy they help you like nothing. at the end they have only one answer go to HR policy portal , go to my HR app,,, go to knome & knomax (their blog portal) etc... I repeat always save your best effort in work for the last moment be avg so that you can get a normal workload,,, even by mistakenly if they know that you work really fast ,,, then my friend you are in big trouble you'll get 3x or may be 5x workload.

Little job security unless and until you don't violate company security policy noone will fire you.

Dislikes

Paying low salary to existing employees and hiring outside candidates in average package. And giving yearly hike of just 2-3% however in media they will show 7-10% sometimes more. Higher management doesn't bother about you. They want their work done. Most of the higher management company working on toxic behaviour. A lot of people are on bench some are since year. Average bench period 3months min. Doesn't have anything any project.

Work culture is amazing. Work life balance is also great. But with someone like me who needs work and wants to constantly learn, tcs wasn’t the place to start. It’s good for mid level careers, not for freshers.

Dislikes

No hikes, no motivation, no appraisals, shit salary. Failure to recognize true potential from right employee

...m. they dont give value for the employee carrier they just want their billing . I found there is no carrier growth technically because they will allocate the project which are irrelevant to our core skills they is no hikes , i don't see any hike for my salary for last 4 years and nowadays they are not paying variable pay RMG is not allow to tag to right projects where we get onsite opportunities

As you all know that TCS is one of the top most company in MNCs. Company provides good security and you will not feel pressure in work.

Dislikes

Promotions, hikes and salary perspective this is top worst company in india with no hikes and promotions. They will never think about employees future and their expectations.
