TCS is a big company which is handling 1000s of projects. Most of the projects are service oriented. As a Computer science graduate and my interest was to become a software developer, the kind of projects that I worked initially was not great. Using some outdated technologies it was really hectic and boring. I never enjoyed my work. Doing the same thing always. But there are very few good projects in TCS that help you to explore more areas of technology. My second project was of that type.

...roperly used. Allocating employees to projects without identifying their skills. Salary hike in TCS is very less. It is around 8 to 9% even though you get the best band.

Have a earned leave concept which can be encashed after 30 - 40 leaves are collected. Good upskilling platforms are provided. Have a great company culture, you feel included , celebrate every occasion and quarterly team lunch or initiatives for outings are present where you can network and have fun with different teams. - variable pay is scam for c3a plus people - toxic environment depends on team member and client (no team work) - zero job security , they will hire you any time and fire you with no reason it's like my bat and my ball if you gave me out then I will take my bat and ball with me no body can play - no salary growth

Don't like anything offices have spacious working desk and some chairs are good

Job security - Good

Dislikes

List is too long but I'll short with career progression in terms of salary, you'll get additional responsibilities daily but no compensation. No facilities for employees in office

Got Offer from TCS!

Hello, I got 32L CTC offer from TCS as an IAM associate consultant. Is it a good package considering I have 10.9 years of experience and in IAM 3.6 years? Rest of the experience is in dot net. Also, TCS is considering 10.2 experience only as some process on their side. Please share your thoughts on the offered package and the experience part. Thank you in advance.
