Little scope for self development, no opportunity to work in detail engineering of critical structure, mostly basic engineering & retrofitting work, yearly increament not as per industry standards

Salary structure is fine and salary on time.

As I am working on consultant post there is no any leave and no any other benifit. I suggest to all the candidate to not join as a consultant post. If any one would like to join TCE please join on permanent role else leave.

Nothing at all. You will think that its better to do anything else than to join this company

Salary will not increase for years. For 4-5 years one increment only. Very frequent transfers to client location, which completely destroys the family life. People live in fear that where will they be next month or what work they will do. Managers lie about deputation/transfers tenure. Usually if you are gone to client office then you will only come back after you resign. Work quality is very bad, no skill development, will give any work thus not letting you learn one particular stream and affecting your career growth. Managers are not professional and are also not technically sound.

Reputation of the group is good, salary is on time on a fixed date i.e 29th, learning environment is average, overall company is good , rest is depend on person

Job security is good and it is almost same in all Tata companies. Work life balance quite good.

Dislikes

For beginners it can be good but can not survive more than 3 yrs as the starting salary and increamnet is very poor. if You are looking for growth in career you should not join tce in your early age. spend 10-15 yrs outside then join Tce with a huge package and you can retire from here.
