There is a whole list. Heavy corporate politics, nepotism at its peak, benefits are just an illusion, management is highly unprofessional, compensation is industry lowest, CTC is flawed, employees' overall development is zero, and many many more. Tata steel hold some part of its ethics, other wise it has became like any other pvt player in market

Currently company loosing it's charm which used to be 10 year ago. Compensation is also reduced in terms of market avg among many.

If you are working here then it's total waste of time and carrier because you will be dragged by superior person you never get growth here it's better to avoid here and even you work here will get exploit here

Hub of nepotism (undeserving kith and kin of Tata Steel bosses occupy high posts), lack of future growth and lateral movement (other companies in the sector are even worse), lack of transparency in day to day decision making, over-reliance on individual brilliance of a handful of toxic people, unsatisfactory job content (you will be only looking over workers doing a mundane job) , sycophancy based review system promotes undeserving people . These are some cons that you will struggle with on a day to day basis. At a more strategic level the, the top management is constituted of people borrowed from Tata Steel (a good number of them are assigned to this company as a punishment for under-performing or misconduct of duty) and is least interested in the sustainable growth of the company or long term well being of the employees. They will allow anything as long as the top line keeps swelling , so that they can pitch for their return to Tata Steel.
