After the demise of Ratan Tata, Tata Steel is no longer a place to work anymore. The Stupid HR policy, Forced Retirements, reduced number of leaves are the new normal. The only good part was the OPD medical facility which be discontinued from April onwards as well.

Not much.

Dislikes

Less work life balance. Excessive and unnecessary paper work. Bossy culture especially after Tata Take over. No shop floor experience and guidance from seniors except few seniors. Pathetic union culture

The pay structure is still good for freshers and employee related benefits are good. However, i have worked only in Tata Steel and hence not aware about the benefits which other companies provide.
