The pay structure is still good for freshers and employee related benefits are good. However, i have worked only in Tata Steel and hence not aware about the benefits which other companies provide.

Growth opportunities are limited. Extreme bureaucracy and things move really slow.

Salary. Low in hand salary as per ctc, no accomodation facility specially for new joining. Double HRA facilities for locals but not for whom out side.

Same company in different locations have different policies and salary structure. Tata steel gives facilities only for employees in Jamshedpur and Kalinga nagar location. Very poor management, they don't care about their employees, work-life balance.

Pay scale is low compared to market for recent (lateral, merged) employees, revision required specially for JSR based new employees.

Discrimination between executives and non executives in the context of job responsibility and reward and recognition. Transition method from non officer to officer
