Ontime salary,the job of a junior registrar is not hectic.TATA company distribute everyone's responsibility .My seniors are cooperative .

Dislikes

The Tata housing in Jajpur(BAMNIPAL) is located at a remote region .The duty hours of doctors are more than 10hr of engagement daily (8 hr duty + 2 hr travell from remote colony) .There are several other challenges out of your area of responsibility .So You have to make your mind before considering .

Likes

Good corporate culture. Low maintenance costs in the town .high salary packages.

Dislikes

Lack of some basic transportation services for outside travel from jamshedpur. No domestic airport, lack of flights from sonari airport(private) facility in regular and daily basis. Difficulty in traveling to home town on urgent or in Emergency situations.

Work culture is good.....remaing Study, Learing activity, employee participation all are good...

Dislikes

Promotions are very late and difficult to experience persons...... Salary increment also very late....total Salary revision will do after 7 years is too late...and basic yearly increment is given low value...minimum monthly 100/- then yearly 1200/- is better to us..this is minimum value we think. Running with low manpower..this is not good for worker's health.....

The culture at Tata is the best. Your colleagues motivate you to learn and become better every year. Also the colleagues and seniors are very helpful and supportive

... pharmacist at Tata Steel,career growth is a very undefined and unclear process.Salary is divided into two types.1》being paid to pharmacists in steel wage-is quite a good and handsome one.2》being paid to NS grade pharmacists is not so lucrative.It is barely sustainable. No scope of travelling as job is restricted to its hospitals and dispensaries in and around jamshedpur town. No scope of innovation.You ve got to dispense the specified generic drugs as adviced by doctors of the hospital.The pharmacists here do not get exposure to new medicinal molecules or different fixed dose combinations or branded products as in case of a large retail outlet.Hence learning process is slow.Work is hectic sometimes when no. of pharmacists is less due to absentism or leave or being transferred to other location for work.Where each pharmacist in his individual drug counter dispenses an avarage of 250 to 300 prescriptions per day's shift.

Dislikes

Earlier,Tata Steel was known for its job security,its responsibility towards the overall wellbeing of its employees and their family members.But now the scenario is fast deteriorating.Job security is becoming less day by day.Promotion and increment is poorly defined and poorly implemented.
