Tata elxsi is a good company. They won't be giving competitive salary while joining as experienced candidate, the good thing is hike for existing employees is above industry average compared to other service based companies.

Dislikes

...dies, events , team building activities are not according to industry standards. The basic component in salary is so low and standard insurance is only 1.5 lakhs. Need to pay extra 5k for getting atleast 3 lakhs insurance coverage.

- The only good thing about working here is that you don't have to tell everyone that you are working in an IT company, but an engineering company (all lies). - Job security is there if you are willing to miss out on good career progression. - After just 2 years of service they make you senior engineer, even though you don't know anything and at 5 years you become a 'specialist' this title means nothing as the specialist I have seen are not even intermediate in their field.

..." which means we will put you in project and hope that you learn own your own. - The salary is absurd. Even after hitting record high on the stock market the employees get nothing, the good performers of the company get around 7% hike which is less than inflation rate, while the CEO gets 300% hike. - The salary stops growing after 6LPA. You will be lucky to get the same salary as your YoE. Eg: 7 year guy will get 7LPA. - You have to be lucky to get a really good project, most projects here are just documentation and testing and that too the management expects you to work Saturdays, Sundays and holidays without giving a simple rupee. - The work hours for employees working in India are 9 to 6, but most people are forced by their managers to work from 8am to 11pm so that they can meet with teams from Japan, Europe, USA, SA etc.

... Not much aware of campus as I joined virtually and continuing WFH since then. Your performance gives you good hike and bonus as well. Teammates are really supportive and interactive in every aspect. Company policies are also good.

...ob security, even if you are not allocated to any projects you need not worry. Salary/Appraisal: Salary gets credited without any delay, appraisal will be given as per overall norms. Learning and growth: For freshers learning will be good if they are allocated under right persons else its the person's responsibility to learn on their own.

No work from home option No comp offs No other benefits not even sweet boxes on special occasions Work experience will not be on single vertex you may asked to focus on so many stuffs and finally you end up as doing everything and knowing nothing
