Salary Expectations
I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

...o spend 12-14 hrs per day then the management will consider you resourceful. 2. Interns works with zero salary 3. Covid times worst for the employees since first month salary cut, second month layoffs which everyone knows wasn't necessary. The company was just looking to cut down on resources they thought is not useful and was good time to make excuses and ofcourse didn't have to pay full. 4. Sick Leaves are tied to your bonus, meaning if you use your 100% sick leave you will be eligible for only 50% of your bonus which are peanuts .In the support or implementation team, your leaves will lapse since mostly your leaves will be unapproved. 5. Should be willing to work on Weekends if you are on support and implementation team. 6. Shift are mainly night shift.
