New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

...th Tangent Infocom. This is the worst company which I have been seen in my life. There is no job satisfaction, salary will not be on time, thay credit our salary according their wish & most important thing that they will deduct your salary with nonsense reasons. And the management is so worst. Because there managers are thief and cunning. I suggest to everyone please no one go there for doing job

If you want to get a raise just submit a resignation even though you are never going to leave. (Practiced by many including the HR)

... HR will like to wave off any of your problems and tell you to get used to it. No way that you are ever going to get salary on time. A lot of politics. It's been over 180 days since i left but no way i have got any Full and final settlement which they say that will be done in 45 days of leaving the organisation, if you call hr " just wait for next week i will surely get it done"
