Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

People at shop floor are very supportive. Always ready to help you in learning.

Dislikes

Everything. Toxic management. Hire and fire culture. Complete team changes every 3 4 months No ontime salary. Gets delayed by more than 20 days. No ambitions. Eveytime rather than focusing on improving work efficiency always prefer to find someone as scapegoat. Don't get fooled by US based company reputation.
