There is nothing to like about this company. But still the kind of exposure we get for overall work is good.

Dislikes

Managers are working as politicians. They try to favour there table(drink ) partners. Do not focus on quality just on completion of project. No process is followed. Anybody can be requirement engineer. If needed second day you can be Integrator as well sw developer. Your are slave for them who should work day and night. Manager can call you anytime after office and without any greetings he will ask "hoga gaya kya kab tak hoga" On the other hand policy in TACO groups are shit. They tell you it is hybrid but never allow to work from home. IN and OUT policy are also like production plan not as RND center. Right now there is tug of war going on between TACO and PUNCH POWERTRAIN management for licence , tools and employees. Not healthy environment for any employee to enhance his skills and to grow professionally.

No Vision No Mission Worst Management Worst HR policies(none of them are employee friendly) No Appreciation/recognition from leadership for hard work No encouragement for research and new projects Working model is hybrid but everytime you need strict permission (because of trust issues that employee will not be working when he is home) No clear communication for anything Worst politics everywhere (Junior level people are suffering/stressed the most due to this) Company is in weak financial situation No standard way of working Strict timings like plant for R&D office Conclusion - nobody cares whatsoever happens in the company.

Likes

Products are good for learning. Technology is completely new in India.

Dislikes

R&D manager was SQE in previous organization and here he become R&D manager so he don't have idea what he is doing. He doesn't even know the difference between force and torque. There is more SQE related task than that of R&D here. Management is completely neglecting R&D and more focused on number of production volumes. Since last year more than 13 R&D people left just because of incompetent R&D manager.

Likes

Learning curve is good only for selected people . But on the other hand there is no training at all.

Dislikes

No appreciation from leaders . No trust from leaders . They ask others from different teams whether his team members are doing any work or not. When worked from home also leaders have no trust. Very annoying way of working . Demotivating. There is huge attrition rate at TACO PUNCH POWERTRAIN. There are leaders who do not know any technical but behave as if they know technical. Even the GETs are better in technical knowledge how of the product than the leaders.

No clear communication from management No learnings or skill improvement Now as punch powertrain and Tata autocomp demerger, there is lot of issues related to tools, access, and work infrastructure and very less support from management Would not suggest to join this company
