...t is only as per the discretion of the department HOD could change later also. Make sure that, it is clear prior to joining and do negotiate on the salary if the working days are longer than expected. 2. Who who Analysis- Instead of finding the gaps in the system and to correct it , people are interested to play blame game to the people. 3. No Proper Review Analysis and be upfront on communicating the initiatives to the manager and HR (even if they are not interested.) 4. Logic behind the uniform? - Different uniform with respect to the employee life cycle-> Probationer will be having one , permanent employees will be having another,not sure the logic behind this.

It's a good company with good exposure to learn. Work-life balance is also good.

Dislikes

Pay and career growth is not good ,as the HR department doesn't have any role there. There is no proper incentive mechanism there. For career growth ,you have to demand ,inspite of your performance. Internal politics and lack of respect to employees is also another bad thing I faced there

This company is open learning of different techniques, innovations and readily adopts latest technologies. I love the fact that I am a part of a team there they will give better training about the different analytical methods, gives training about different instrumentation- handling & calibrations, give training about SAP.

Compensation is decent, but growth is slow. The growth is slow . The work pressure is very high. Sometimes, I have to work 9-12 hours straight in a day. Managers do not value an individual's unique strengths, which is why I have to take back my suggestions most of the times. I do receive appreciation from my team head & colleagues, but they mostly go unnoticed during my appraisals. Also, there is no on-job training for freshers, hence senior folks like me have to guide them step-by-step, which is a pain sometimes.
