Job security is good until and unless you do not miss any compliance requirements. Salary is paid on time. Work life balance is very good.

Overall Syngenta is a very good company to work with. Just they can improve the pay-scale, I mean yearly appraisal bit bit more. Also they should provide transportation facilities and Sodexo facilities.

Good compensation and great work life balance in syngenta Biosciences pvt Ltd. good for freshers. 4 departments are here, RC (Research chemistry), Process chemistry, Kilo lab and RSMC.

Dislikes

Not much growth for people with experience more than 3 years. Increment is 6-11%. STI is heigher than industry (15%).

Look down at employees who have joined Syngenta shared services from BPO industry. Heavy deduction on annual variable pay that actually reduced your actual takeaway home by 15%-20%. P2P Tower lead was horrible with no etiquette on how to speak team. It's a place where you find favoritism at the extreme, some people will be promoted every year, and few suffer a lot no matter how much you work. It's a bureaucratic sarkari company. DO NOT JOIN IF YOU TRUST MY REVIEW. Your manager can see your entire salary breakup which i personally didn't like after working in India Tier 1 IT companies You will hardly get any support from HR as they will convince you that there is some issue with you and they will never support you. They cannot handle high package salary hence they make heavy deduction on annual appraisal, variable pay and to prove this a hammering of your happen through out year

Syngenta is a great school of learning & one can learn how to sell the product. Salary & perks are OK.

No work life balance. Every day has its own beginning. Sales , Liquidation & collection...that's all. In daytime sales person do sales in field & in night he used to do same business in dream. Very dirty politics. Deserving candidates are always get the kick , and sycophant's job is not only secured but also he will grow rapidly. Job of the HR is just to appoint an employee. They will never listen the problems of employee & forget they will sought out it. Higher management is only concerned about the budget numbers, they don't care who the hell will bring that. They don't think for a second to fire you. Emotion less fellows. No humanity , No employee friendly atmosphere. Yes , self respect less person can survive well at this company.

Too much pressure for work in field staff.. no work life balance. I have to work even in Sundays. Your boss will threaten you to fire if you can't satisfy him. Frustrated!
