...hould forget his faster career growth & they won’t teach any outside happenings. Company will be very good if proper training arrangements & slight higher salary increments. From my opinion, Sundaram motors is just a place to gain experience in short time & should leave place immediately.

Lot of elderly staff (avg age 50+). No room for innovation/creativity/modern thinking. Laid back processes. Technology averse organization. Remuneration not on par with market / skills. I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
