Family environment, Work culture was good, work life balance

Dislikes

Salary, Uneducated unqualified people who haven't studied CA become partners in a consultancy firm and obviously their attitude will change. This partners doesn't have any knowledge except working knowledge. Salary is as low as possible. This firm will never become big because of propritorship mentality. And work culture has Detorriated a lot due to giving of power to unqualified people

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
