Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Dislikes

Work Load will be the one thing, which put everyone in bit pressure. But you can learn alot of things handling work pressure. Thats one's personal choice.

The work culture is awsome, and the time flexibility is excelllent. You get lot of time to upscale yourself. The managment is very supportive you won't face any negativity in company. The management cares for their employee first.
