Timely salary Saturday Sunday off every week Canteen facility

Dislikes

Company and it's policies are best as it is govt organisation but to much politics inside. Some senior peoples are sitted ideal and showing like they are doing work but they are very good actor. Also these sitted peoples creating unnecessary pressure on juniors and try to show that they are only doing work not by juniors.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
