No work life balance of Officers Lot of Ego clash with seniors and posts having authority in LHO Or AO. Using frequent transfers to difficult postings as a weapon against the employee by the controllers. Officers life are degrading day by day so much that clericals don't even want to get promoted even if they are completely eligible as well as capable to become officer.

The culture, the trust of the client. You feel completed as a banker.

Their cryptic incentive and salary hike policy, there is no clarity, you keep on working but unaware of the rewards and your seniors are not available for answering to your concerns.

JOB SECURITY IS SAFE BUT ONE HAS TO BE CAUTIOUS IN DEALING WITH SUCH A VAST MAJORITY OF CUSTOMERS IN FINANCIAL INSTITUTION LIKE SBI /WORKING PRESSURE IS TREMENDOUS/ CULTURE PREVAILING IN SBI FOR WORK IS GOOD/MANAGEMENT IS NOT PROFESSIONAL/COMPANY POLICY ON PEN & PAPER IS FINE BUT IN REAL TERM NOT FAIR ENOUGH

... VERY HIGH WORK PRESSURE AND VERY HIGH /UNREALISTIC DEMAND OF HIGHER MANAGEMENT.SALARY STRUCTURE IS FAR BELOW THAN PRIVATE SECTOR BANKS

... imparted in all fields where it required. Opportunity in career growth is good. Salary is not so good in comparison to Central Government employees. Honesty & integrity is must for all SBI employees. Competition is tremendous. Work environment is good but must be very careful in exercising his duty.

Horrible work culture. Too much internal politics. People who don't work re appraised well and people who work hard are appraised badly, and have to bear lots of criticism. Seniors don't have any idea about the reality of ground level and force unethical practices for personal gains. People who oppose this are publically humiliated and instructed to resign. Seniors have no working knowledge of how the softwares work, and if some do do, then they refused to share their knowledge with others. It is the worst workplace I have ever worked in. I would not wish this kind of working environment to my worst enemy.
