Infrastructure is not at par with the industry. Very few chances for learning and skill development Ineffective management. Work life balance is absent Top Down approach of management Grossly Mismanaged at lower levels and unreasonable pressure on frontline staff. Absence of well defined roles for employees and everything is haphazard and makeshift Future is ambiguous Unethical work practices

...ir banking practices are among the best in the industry. Products are also good. The pay and perks used to come timely and one didn't really face any such difficulty in getting one's dues such as overtime, holiday working, fuel etc.

Dislikes

Too much stress was laid on hours spent in the office. Work-life balance was poor. The good workers, average workers and non workers all used to get the same pay and that demotivated the good workers, and often landed them with more work! There was duplication of work at many levels, and too much of stress on data collection/submission to various departments. An officer was often bogged down by data requirements (same data) from different departments!

...ly banker to every Indian. One gain experience in handling all kind of customer. Good Salary package compared to any other banking and financial institutions. Respect and status is incomparable. Tough but worth for career oriented candidates.

Dislikes

Challenges before a women employee and men is not the same in our society. Not every family support working women. To spread their wings and fulfill their dreams they faces many many hurdles. We cannot have rigid and common transfer policy for everyone. I have seen many women employee resigning due to this reason including me. Having work life balance is difficult for officer particularly.

It is a field job which you are required to travel to Village or may be door to door services No promotion is there it is the third party job But due to working in the loan department you can work with private bank after getting experience.
