Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

...anagement is transparent.there is huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling.company policies are good, appraisal are fair and they don't give good salary but hike and bonus every year.

Dislikes

There is some politics and the management does not address our issues.salary is not good so career growth is slow.there is a bond of 1 year before which you can not resign.on the job training is not given to new joines

I worked in final quality in the department of quality control..This is a small scale industry so learning for my project is good...This company has ISO certified company... and safety of the company is excellent...

Dislikes

The work pressure is high...sometimes I have to work 14_15 hrs straight in a day.
