Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

My time at Srinivas and Gopal Chartered Accountants has been quite disappointing. The work environment is incredibly toxic, primarily due to the management style of Srinivas, who often scolds employees and creates a stressful atmosphere. Payment issues are common, leaving staff feeling undervalued and frustrated. I would not recommend this workplace to anyone seeking a positive and supportive environment.
