No one to supervise and good systems.

Dislikes

Lowest salaries, bad CEO who shouts at his employees to save few pennies, no work rules, full of politics, no respect for skilled person, no allowances, seemed to be labour work, no paid leave at all - even for person who takes mostly 1 leave per month, no career growth, work culture against copyright policies, company just wants to earn money through newspaper and online ads, no professionalism in journalism, its sort of a business in the form of news reporting. These are realities.......and I am not just venting out my ego.......work here only if you have no employment at other companies, leave it as soon as you get any other good job.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
