A wide variety of topics to cover. A good place to learn the ins-and-outs of SEO article writing and gain some insights into entertainment reporting.

It's up to you to enforce work-life boundaries. There is no paid time off. Contracts can be exploitative, trying to extract more labor for less pay.

Dislikes

1. Very greedy and toxic management. They give unrealistic monthly targets and pay extremely less per article 2. Some managers threaten your career if you don't meet their expected targets 3. They manipulate SEO to get more reads 4. They expect us to deliver more articles on weekends. Hence, lack of proper work-life balance

1) As a social media person, I learnt quite a few things which I didn't know. 2) You'll learn playing with excel and numbers. 3) Peer to Peer learning exists, especially from upper management (but totally depends on how your manager is) Some managers are good, some are really really bad. PS: Hiring at SK is really bad at management level.

Dislikes

1) Salary will remain the same if you're on contract in the social media team. 2) You'll NEVER become permanent unless you have a team working under you. 3) There's no security at job. If a page closes because of low performance and your manager's mistakes, you can be fired. 4) Favouritism at its peak. Affiliate marketers and content writers will come and give you gyaan. 5) There are NO HOLIDAYS. Yes, no Independence Day, no weekends, no Diwali, no Holi. It's a 365 day working position. 6) If you're the social media executive, you're also the copywriter and the graphic designer. 7) If work demands, you'll be called at 11 in the night for a task. Days are really tiring and can extend upto 15-18 hours of work days. Personally, I've at least been awake till 3-4AMs for 30-40 days of my entire stint.

Dislikes

--> No major salary benefits --> Company exploits it's writers. The Managers fill their pockets while you won't get a penny for the hardwork Overall, the worst company experience.

Exposure is somewhat okay. Contractual writers can choose their own schedule, but they'll have to be vigilant to avoid being exploited.

...ey're doing, and rely entirely on those at the very bottom — the writers. >Too much work for too little pay: The very backbone of the company are its writers, and yet, they aren't paid much, or treated like anything but company assets. The situation is worse for those who go up the ladder, but not by a significant step. The expectations turn out to be unreal at times, and exploitation becomes the keyword here.
