Disgruntled employees, as a result of poor compensation, and an unprofessional management, which does not trust its staff and refuses to delegate work effectively, add to the sorry state of affairs. Man-management skills are sorely lacking and those in charge only believe in processes that track quantitative output and not qualitative offering. As a result staff spend very little time on improving quality and always feel being targeted and asked to pay the price for incoherent top-down policies. Despite working there, I would not depend on SK, on my life, for sports news. What they dish out, I'm sorry to say, is speculative at best and sloppy at worst.

There is a lot to learn from working at Sportskeeda especially as a manager. You develop an understanding of operations and implement tactics to help your team grow. The business is sound from a content point of view and maintains certain standards which add to the quality of your work.

Dislikes

...provided, and leaves are absolutely frowned upon unless you are absolutely sick. The pay is also meagre compared to the workload.

It's up to you to enforce work-life boundaries. There is no paid time off. Contracts can be exploitative, trying to extract more labor for less pay.

1. Very greedy and toxic management. They give unrealistic monthly targets and pay extremely less per article 2. Some managers threaten your career if you don't meet their expected targets 3. They manipulate SEO to get more reads 4. They expect us to deliver more articles on weekends. Hence, lack of proper work-life balance

Exposure is somewhat okay. Contractual writers can choose their own schedule, but they'll have to be vigilant to avoid being exploited.
