Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

...no learning. Zero flexibility, no weekend even they call on Sunday without comp. off or overtime salary.

Dislikes

Everything. Rude behaviour of senior employees, everyone talks in such a bad tone. So much politics within the company. Everyone hates the owner but keep buttering in front of him.
