Good work life balance and good compensation. Job security is there for support team in India. Work culture is good and you get flexibility to work once you are senior.

Dislikes

Not much scope to move out in a different team. Technology training is limited. Teammates are good and cooperative. Rest of all is all good.

The company policies sometimes baffle me. For simplest of the tasks there are no policies and no reporting available. The team in India is toxic. If you are outspoken, then forget your career growth. You have to do as they command you to do else, there are consequences.

Ahmedabad engineering team (earlier cyberoam) was bought by Sophos. Slowly power is shifting to Bangalore, so Ahmedabad team doesn't coopertate to bangalore teams at all. In the name of no-spoon feeding, there is no cooperation, no mentoring, guidance, sharing knowledge etc. Managers from Ahmedabad hardly have any communication with bangalore team. Also there is hardly any communication or reachability in higher management from Sophos. Work wise also, I worked on random non core domain projects. So waste of time. However, there are few teams which operate independently in bangalore & has no relationship with Ahmedabad, which can be a good option.

...fe balance is the lowest priority in their list but working hour is flexible. 7. No compensation for on call rotta or weekend work.Not even comp off day.
