New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. The company HR is simply pathetic.He does not have the basic etiquettes of how to talk with an engineer who is leaving the company...most unwelcoming nature...I worked there for such a long time but when I was leaving the company due to some personal reasons,he behaved so badly with me that I was surprised...he doesn't understand a person's personal life and with his family 's condition.
