Siemens looks after employees very well, so treats everyone well and job security is guaranteed. There are many policies which are for employee and family benefits.

Dislikes

The compensation which siemens offer at time of new job or annual compensation is way less even though you are part of IT. For me monetary wise concern is there.

If you get into a good project and under a good manager, siemens is a very good place to work.. Work life balance and leanings depend upon the team and the project

Dislikes

...policy. Apart from annual hike cycle expect no hike irrespective of promotions.. I had 2 dry promotions in 3 years with hardly any difference to the salary. Only the work and responsibilities increased.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
