Dislikes

Compensation is decent but growth is slow. The work pressure is high. Sometimes I have to work 12-14 hours straight in a day as I have to attend client calls in the evening and sometimes late into the night. Managers do not value an individuals unique strengths which is why I have to tack back my suggestions most of the times. I do receive appreciation emails from my client but they mostly go unnoticed during my mid year appraisals. Also there is no onjob training for freshers hence senior folks like me. Have to guide them step-by-step. Which is a pain sometimes.

I would like to mention about the free working environment, the less burden of stress and the helping nature of the colleagues in the firm. All these things were very helpful for carrying out the work of my first job. Last but not the least, I would like to thank my managing directors for their personal intervention and help provided during my working period.

Retention offer

Hello, Current offer from CG - Total 21.5L, fixed as 19.4 and rest bonus Retention offer from Deloitte - Total 19.1, fixed as 15.5 and rest bonus (4L) I understand the offer is less but my manager explained that Deloitte's hikes are better in the market and on an average, I can get 15% every year with good performance. The same hikes in CG are around 5-6% so financially, my salary growth will definitely be more in Deloitte. Please give me suggestions. I have good management and projects in Deloitte with WLB but I would like to have some perspective on offered CTC too
