SAM is a big brand name and pay well. Creche facility is there.

As a Secretary, you can't get recognition of your work. Working environment is not very friendly especially who are new and ofcourse it depends on Partner & team which you are working with. In a team I am working with, no one follows office timings. They work with their convenience without value your time, full day their will be no work and in evening they start giving work which could have been given in day time. HR promises you many things while interview and in induction but actually you get nothing and they can call you anytime randomly to do some other teams work and that can be on weekend as well.

They do the best of the deal in the entire country

There is lot of groupism , office politics, there are no weekend off even though its there mandatory policy. You can be expected from your senior to come to office on Sunday. Seniors commit lot of work to client without asking to jr employee about same Once senior told me that we appreciate people taking weekend off. I failed to understand that whether i am supposed to take weekend off or not. You can often listen from senior that what were you doing entire day in very rude manner. People discuss there that why are junior taking so long break I was working under a principal associate she told me that I can g Vet your work to the core" As she a principal associate". That is not her job. I thought 🤔 who will do it Same level employee has once told me that she will not be able to guide you with your work along side mine. I was doing the work assigned to me for the first time in my life. These are few off the incidents that I am mentioning on here.. There were many that I have faced in my employment time there. I am not the only employee who has left the work. There are many who has for the same for the mental health. They have felt burn out due to crazy working hour. Except the deals they do. they have nothing more to offer to you. please keep your mental health as your priority..learned a hard lesson around.

Work culture is certainly better compared to a lot of Tier-1 law firms. Opinions and grievances are heard and addressed fairly quickly. Meritocratic hierarchy. Hybrid work policy. Emphasis on autonomy and good client interaction.

Payband is certainly on the lower end amongst Tier-1 law firms despite same levels of workload and clientele quality and client commitment. Retainer revenues are primarily locked-up at management level. Specialized teams not given their due. Skewered management priorities.

The senior associates and principal associates bully juniors. They set unreasonable and unachievable goals. They expect you to work 24×7 without any breaks. They will replace you in seconds if you commit suicide because of the pressure that this workplace has. THEY HAVE NO ETHICS OR BOUNDARIES. They feel entitled to suck your positive energy. Just by paying you some money, they feel entitled to your entire time during the day and night.

Nothing to like there. Simply spend your hours with lots of exertions and take money simply. Your time and smart work does not matter whether you have great expertise to execute any work smartly or in an advance way. They use only their own pattern and not praise your working style; ultimately, you will have to be constrained to perform under lots of pressures. People execute task simply as per direction knowingfully well this that his/her senior is a crass and like his/ her own working style and it is also in the practice of the people who working in the firm since long. It's funny but truth.

Company does not care the new comers who definitely has talent and potential to execute work in smart way, who is very keen to learn & perform in best way. One can survive only if he/ she has back power or tendency of flattering, but has to bear lots of lewd words and aspersions to survive there. Overall worst working culture nobody pay any heed despite of giving our best while exertion, even HR given worst/ bad feedback to other firms if a person quit his position from there and applies to another one. If you voice your concern in very correct way and with utmost regard even the same is null & void in the eyes of seniors and nobody will take your concern seriously. People who are working there are bonded labour and nothing else.
