Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

I had a good exposure with tons of learning along with machine and manpower handling. Thanks to the real boss of the place, because of him i was there and graced. I will be grateful whole life that i have served there first job of my life. Thanks from my heart.

Dislikes

No work life balance. No appraisal and appreciation. Sundays half day also. there is no peace as a site Engineer at all. No technical and communication improvements.
