Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

I like the way the company works and as it is a reputed Company, explaining the customers of the company is not required. And our Boss is a good natured person. And so on The timings are flexible morning 10 to evening 7 and Sunday is a week off. And we get all the government holidays leave.

Dislikes

Same routine of work which we were working before 6or7 years back is being implemented no particular Apps for Quotation, same old Tally system
