No Salary Discussion in My Appraisal — What’s Your Experience?
In my appraisal meeting, they didn’t ask or discuss my expectations about my salary or hike percentage. The entire discussion was only about feedback and performance review. After the meeting, I asked why they didn’t allow me to share my expectations or reveal my hike numbers. They told me that the hike numbers would be decided only by the owner and then they would inform me. I feel an appraisal meeting should include open discussion about both performance and future expectations. What are your thoughts? Does this happen in your company too?

Shankar Motors has a very good working environment. The workers here are very supportive and the management is also very good. The challenge I get from other team workers while working gives me a new lesson in myself. Many times it has happened that some of my customer has also been approached by a member of other team, at that time I get inspired to handle the customer with a good dry mind so that the customer does not feel any deficiency in me. And make the customer feel comfortable. Working at Shankar Motors Tata Motors made me realize that the competition here is tough compared to any other sector. While facing those competitions, you have to improve yourself as well as make your identity. If you are where you are in doing this, then I guarantee that no one will be able to demoralize you. Right now I am new to this field. It has been 7 months since I joined Shankar Motors. There are still many points which I am unaware of. This is the reason that people who are already working in this field face a tough competition, but still I try to handle that situation according to my ability so that I may come in the eyes of Shankar Motors and Tata Motors. I can make my own identity. I know that if I have succeeded in doing this, then the people who compete with me today will give me respect tomorrow. Over All Shankar Motors Tata Motors is a platform where if people learn the skill of working then I guarantee that they will achieve so much success in life that people will give their example to others. If here you get any challenge from other workers, then it is because you can make yourself capable.

Earlier for 3-4 months I did not get any leads from dealership or TML. But one day our TML trainer Aamir Rizwan sir shared the link of employees feedback. I told my problem in this link, then from next day I started getting leads. I was more sad than I was happy to get the lead, seeing that all the unnecessary leads used to show in my lead app, but the hot leads that used to be assigned to me but in no time. Those leads were removed from my "my lead app" and transferred to others. When I complained about this to my seniors and the concerned officer, there was no satisfactory reply from their side. Tired of this, I put this issue in the official WhatsApp group of Shankar Motors "SMPL Warriors". But due to pressure from others, I had to delete that post. I was told that because of that message of mine, many people would be questioned. I don't want anyone to get inquiry or someone's job because of me. I'm not that bad, that's why I deleted that post. Even today I have saved that msg in my draft. When I complained to the concerned officer, he replied that I am getting a lot of leads that's why my leads are being transferred to others. Now I want to ask a question from Shankar Motors and Tata Motors that is there a provision to transfer all the superfluous leads to me and transfer only the leads of hot customers to others? I would like to mention one more thing that I had joined Shankar Motors on 1st October and I started getting leads from 8th February. In February I also gave 4 bookings to the company. But after that my lead started getting transferred to others. Now since 2 months the situation is such that there is a problem in giving even 1 booking. I face lot of difficulties even for 1 booking. Today I am sharing all these problems with you guys, but I am also afraid that when this matter is highlighted, I may be fired from my job. If I get a chance, I will end all these monopoly and support new employees.
