Salary Expectations
I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

... low salary (around 35k/month) but understandable since it is a private college. And since there is not much work so the pay scale is ok. If you want a good payscale, try joining in a central medical college where they you around 80k but break your back with workload.

My advice: if you want to prepare for PG and don't want a hectic life. Join any ICU in the hospital.

Dislikes

Low salary. 35k to 45k based on department.(31k to 41k in hand) Security of 10% salary will be handed over to you when you have 365 working days. LWP wont be counted in those days. Some departments are hectic. HR is shit, as usual. They cut your salary for idiotic reasons.
