Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Dislikes

Boring environment, no facilities for females... No manners to deal 🤝 with clients even. Very important office is like a bad room congested 😔 very less space to breathe 😔

There is no rules and regulations for work. In 3 year I got one appraisal with 4k. There is lots of politics inside the company. when I was working there was only 2 people including me for software development.
