*Don't be fooled by their great place to work certificate* They have two departments- 1. Marketing and design 2.Product (Inava). I joined their product department - Inava as a UX/UI Designer during the initial product development phase and I worked under the Business Operations team as they managed the project. Now Designers are hired managed under marketing and design department, and they collaborate with the product team earlier they were part of product team. Now, the line manager for design team, doesn't have any idea how UX works. Forget UX he doesn't even know how to use Adobe xd properly, anything is hardly grouped together, naming convention, style guide, were hardly use and the list goes on. At one point, to implement gradient effect, the guy straight up used an image instead of just selecting gradient. The same struggle goes for figma as well, even worse actually. Forget Design, he doesn't know how to manage stuff. During my probation period, the micromanagement was insane, on some occasions he will call you at 5pm or 5.30pm before EOD and dump his work on you, that they were supposed to do and ask it before EOD. He will be first to take credit and pitch your ideas as his, and the audacity to ask you to msg them your login and logout time on whatsapp and furthermore during eod, email list of your task you did today to them and what will you do tomorrow. When I told him, this is straight up micromanaging, his answer was, I manage other graphic designers the same way as well. You will be asked to do what you told, even though you know this will come back as change and someone will point that out, if you point that out, all you hear is do what you told, and when someone from management does point that out, he will play blame shift, why didn't you notice this, you should be careful while designing and so on. When I told my manager (Business operation team), about the whole whatsapp login log off and email thing, he asked me to wait until the probation period is over after that i won't have to put up with this, in his words, the other guy is with company for 8 years, just do as he says, if it gets too much just call the HR. You'll be asked to work on weekends and overtime without any extra pay, when there is a client demo, in which you have to deliver prototypes in 4-5 days because the management lies to potential client saying they can deliver which they are clearly can't making you working long hours. That was the design team, now comes the management. For the product department, they had hired project managers, seniors project managers, assistant project managers, product delivery manager (whose sole focus is on employee timesheet and asking people every week to fill the 8 hours every day in timesheet, so he can monitor resources and make graphs) with no project in hand. The had only 1 new project in 2023 and even to get that they lied to the client. Cherry on top, this one project is managed by all these project managers, and all they do is create stories in clickup. They are making products and modules without any market research or any potential client. The HR policies are also a joke, I had 24 leaves left at my last working day during december, they said in F&F they will only consider 12, because only 12 leaves are carried forward each year. I said but that is applicable to current employees, my LOD is before this year ends and if you're paying 22 days salary to me, that means you accept that my tenure end before new year, so why this cheap tactic? but they keep saying it's company policy, we cannot do anything. If you have more than 3+ Yrs of experience, just skip this company. There is no growth, all you'll do is make prototypes for client demos under someone who has no idea how UX works. I have worked on 8-9 products for them which comes under their Inava platform, and they got only 1 client for a product called VOC (voice of customer), beside that everything is made on management orders with no client in mind, no market research for product. Their mindset is, just make research and analytics products and see if anyone buys them.

...nt takes all the credit and money, juniors are made to work like bonded labours. Imagine the extra work days (Saturday) compensation is 500 rs/day (not even equivalent to 1 day salary) and that too across hierarchy (from analyst to Managers). Directors and above dont get anything extra for working on weekends. You have to be a certain caste to rise in the company.

Good place to remove your fresher tag. Managers are reasonably supportive. Hybrid work culture means less stress. Never worked for more than 50 hours in a week.

Salary given is very very low and the annual appraisals are abysmal as well. After a while, the growth is stalled as they don't give you new projects so easily.
