Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

There's nothing to like about this company

Dislikes

This is the nightmare to be in this company pls never ever join if you want peace and respect they have toxic culture only supports muslims and takes personal revenge from employees. Strict timings if you get late by 1 min it will be your half-day only break for half an hour. Rude HR without any knowledge pls save your skills and don't waste your time here

SFL Hearing Solutions Pvt Ltd is an employee friendly company. It provides perfect platform to learn and experiment. My first tenure in this company was between 2017 to 2020. I rejoined SFL in 2024. The recent management change is focused on implementation of strong compliance and driving the business with Go To Market approach.
