Within three months of joining savills. I do not appreciate and find unacceptable the non-supportive culture, demoralizing behaviour, blame-games and abusive language. Im still trying my level best to adjust, be supportive, calm, patient and adapt to the work culture and appreciate the same courtesy and understanding from my peers.

It's a job...

Dislikes

Piss poor management. Managers almost never in the office and EXTREMELY unreliable. High turnover rate due to negative misdirection of management. HR and Directors play favorites and will actively dismiss or terrorize employees they do not like into leaving. Too focused on diversity instead of attracting and maintaining quality talent. Really insulting pay!!!

A lot to learn (only if you can chase your senior to teach you)

Dislikes

At times, they accept assignments with Ridiculous timeline. Nobody will call you on weekends, but compel you on Friday to finish the work by Monday morning. The top guy of the department will shout at you for asking a silly question or taking 1 extra min of his time. You have to take s*it from him for saying as little as "I don't know this yet." They will boast about how amazing they are doing at their annual celebrations but cry how poor the economy is in appraisals.

Savills being an IPC and in the Real estate industry, one good thing is that you can build good relationship with the developers and clients if you are good enough. To sell the city you need to learn the city hence you will learn about the city completely.
