The school is open to innovative teaching therefore teachers have the freedom to express in the classrooms

There's no compensation and the pay scale is low. Freshers are not trained due to this seniors have to train them

Good work environment. Teaching as well as non teaching staff is very supportive.

Dislikes

At Saraswati International school, teachers are told to resign during their maternity leave instead of giving leave application. Also the maternity period of teachers is totally unpaid as they are told to resign which is a huge loss for the employee during this period.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
