Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Likes

A lot of focus on show off and politics full school. Least value to teaching. Hired Management is negatively dominating. It was wonderfull school before 2 years but now here job is totaly insecure. Salary appraisal system is fake so teachers got unbalanced and even went out of work. Overall people are rejecting it as opportunity.

Dislikes

No comment. Its terrible if somebody want to take risk is welcomed. I am trying to translocate.
