Everything No increament No growth Asks to come even on Sunday by own expenses. Asks lecturers to stand at the exam centres and distribute pamphlets. Students bring cheats to University exams and teachers allow it. Teachers give the extra time of 10-15 in the final exams. On paper the salary is ok and but then they ask to pay half of it back in cash which is not under any record. Cuts 1.5 month salary even after giving the notice period.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
