GF salary Vs. My salary
Me and my gf have been dating for 5 years. Back in 2020, I started my career with a package of ₹5 LPA. Over the years, I’ve reached ₹22 LPA in 2025. She started her journey with ₹3 LPA(2020) and is now earning ₹8 LPA(2025). We’ve been in a live-in relationship for around 2 years, and the idea was to share expenses equally. But, equal sharing never really happened. If we go to a café she likes, especially with friends, I will pay the entire bill. We only split the house rent and grocery bills. I told her lots of time to cut down these costly cafe expenses or earn more money, increase your package, study and work hard, but.....she is now in her comfort zone. Being from a tech background, I have seen people upgrade their skills and package for a good life in metro cities. I am ready to support her in her studies, but she is like I am earning enough for myself.... No, you are not. I love her, but I don't know how to overcome this issue between us. Please suggest!

...o as to fill the seats of the hostel, the faculty might be asked to vacate). 2.The college canteen offers food facility to anyone who is willing to pay. So we didn't have to worry about food (fooding is a big thing for Indian bachelors). 3. Since many of the staff stay in the hostel, they don't get lonely and they have people to talk to. 4. There is gym facility which anyone can use by a monthly charge of Rs.100

Dislikes

1. The location - It is located in a very remote place, Sijoul. Google says it's 20km from Madhubani which is connected to the major cities. But the reality is that Sijoul and Madhubani are not connected well by means of public transport. There is only one bus that plies through that area in the whole day. So if your travel time doesn't coincide with that you don't have any other option other than reserving an auto rickshaw. And they ask for hefty amounts. 2. The timely based punching system- The system doesn't apply here ( at least on the days after long breaks). It has happened many times with me that I have reached the college just 10-20 mins late and lost my half day's salary because my train was late. And this is common during winters when trains run late due to fog Or they could make a review system where genuine problems could be exempted here. 3. Nature of work - The college involves you all kinds of work. As an academician one is supposed to take lectures and focus on research work etc. But they involve us in advertisement work, telecalling and anything that comes up. They even send lecturers to distribute pamphlets and that is very humiliating. 4. Poisonous politics- People's performances and them being true to their work has no respect here. People are involved in politics against each other. Often people loose their jobs over this. This is really suffocating. 5. Benefits, Appraisals etc- If you are working in Sandip University, forget these things. There are no extra benefits of any kind. There are no increments either. Until 2017 there was regular 10% increment annually. Now they have stopped it. 6. No autonomy - There is too much involvement of Nasik staff( head branch) and they like to exercise power unnecessarily. Misbehaviour from them is very common. A few have resigned because of this. 7. No value for educational qualifications. 8. The kind of students are very indisciplined and unruly. No strictness in college for this.

Lack of constant policy, written salary and actual salary differs by miles unless you belongs to the upper band of salary holders, directionless work orders which changes seasonally, no culture of appreciation for lower level staffs as all credits taken by upper level staffs.
