Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

The company is open to adopt new technologies and manager and general manager are friendly in nature cooperate to the employees and time to time salary paid

Dislikes

Decision should be made by single person and work should be allocated by one person in Sampat manager will tell to do one thing and GM will say to do one thing in that frustration employees will be confused whether to listen to the manager or gm
