New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. ...e careful 🙏🏼 I am extremely disappointed with my experience with this company. During the interview process, I was given multiple assurances about the role, compensation, and growth opportunities. However, after joining, it became clear that none of the promises made were being kept. The job description was misleading, and the compensation structure was not what was agreed upon. Communication from management has been unreliable and, at times, nonexistent. It feels like I was misled and scammed into joining this company under false pretenses. This lack of integrity and professionalism is unacceptable, and I would strongly advise others to be cautious when considering employment here. Trust and transparency are critical, and unfortunately, this company failed on both counts.
