Primary days post joining was OK.

...olicies for employee No PF No Mediclaim No Insurance Non standard operating No timely salary Salary not in account through RTGS, cash deposit in multiple slots Advance not on time (TA/DA) No standard process for any payment, every time n number of mails/ calls/messages/ what's app to do for getting payments credited in account. Poor response from MD No value of employee Multiple unethical practices going on No policy for leave No appraisal and salary incremental process for all employees. No SOP No timely necessary support from company to achive milestones and targets in given Projects. One man driven company.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
