Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Seniors are very helpful. Like if somebody wanted to learn things they take the initiative and help them.

Dislikes

Salary issue was my first concern and anybody can become an anchor there, and the last thing I don't like is the gossiping environment. And they only provide morning pickup and midnight drop.
