Salary Expectations
I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

This is a start up with no fund. They have not received their series B funding yet. So unable to carry their running cost. They have closed down many operations in many cities for now funding issue. If any one wants to join to put his career in toss he can join. More over neither the Co founders nor the management has the ability to think out of baskets which is very much essential for a startup. Also the Co founders are ready to accept the ground reality and comes with any solutions.
