SABIC working environment is very good.

There is a lot of politics and the management does address our issues. Salary is decent and career growth is slow. There is no bond for resign. On the job training is available for new joinees.

Likes

Everything is good, there is a work-life balance, salary is paid on time, appraisal is also on time.There is also a six-day workweek.

Dislikes

Everything is good in but in Sabic salary increases are only given in the name of promotion, the position will never increase until retirement.There is no scope for promotion here. If you join as an operator, the chances of retiring as an operator are 90%.

They provide really work-life balance.

Dislikes

You have to pay for food here. There's not enough office space and the accomodate you between two cubicles or you pick any place where the employees are on leave. The place is very remote. Not a good place for young people.

if direct hire. Privileges are many like Medical Ins, Family Coverage Bonus, Merit increase, Grade etc 1994 to 2015 I was direct hire. Now, me working in sabic thru Supplier since 2016...all above benefits are nominal.

expats always heavy loaded, seldom Superiors dont care about subordinate"s stress ,, or worker welfare.
