Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

The school is effectively implementing the latest technology and teaching strategies in education. i love the fact that i part of a school that have great desire to change the way of education to make it more fun and giving the students a cutting edge to give their best in their respective field for the upliftment of society.

Dislikes

Compensation is decent, but managers do not value an individual's unique strengths, which is why i have to take back my suggestions most of the times.
